Link∙Ability Services
In addition to the membership community you can see on other pages on this site, Link∙Ability offers a range of LinkedIn® services. You can find out more about them in the sections below but they include profile makeovers, coaching, training, and a LinkedIn® profile/page management service. If you'd like to know more about any of the services offered here (or additional ones), please email lynnaire@linkability.biz or DM Lynnaire on LinkedIn®.
Profile Makeovers
Everything we do on LinkedIn® comes back to our profiles. If we post content, send invites or people just Google us, our LinkedIn® profile is squarely in the frame. If a profile is bare, incomplete or simply doesn’t do us justice, those viewing it will regard us as less competent, professional or worthy of their time and attention.
If you’re a job-seeker, your LinkedIn® profile will very likely be viewed by recruiters and head-hunters before they even look at your CV. And if you don’t make good use of all the features available to you, your competitors will be given the job offers that could have come to you.
If you’re a business owner, especially in the B2B market, your potential customers will be seeking you and your company out on LinkedIn®. What your profile and company page tell them about you will influence whether or not they approach you to work with them.
LinkedIn® is constantly changing and if your profile doesn’t keep pace or adequately represent your skills, expertise, experience and knowledge, you will miss out.
We offer two LinkedIn® profile update or makeover services:
Done-for-you – this is our top-end service and ensures your profile is in the top 5% worldwide. It includes all the latest LinkedIn® features relevant to your profile and your business. It takes 2-4 weeks to complete and involves a top-to-tail revamp of all existing sections, the addition of visuals (media) and new sections you don’t currently use, as relevant. Once your profile is complete we conclude with a 1:1 Zoom session to discuss how you can use your new profile to bring in business or attract your dream job.
Investment: US$1500
Coaching – instead of having it done for you, our profile coaching offering teaches you how to update your profile and we work with you to make it happen. You can then make changes as you wish in future, knowing the basics of how the platform works. LinkedIn® is now a very complex beast so learning how to make it work in your favour gives you a strategic advantage over your competitors in business or the job market.
Sessions run 75 minutes, are recorded for you to refer to later, and ongoing interaction and questions are encouraged. Coaching clients receive a free month of access to our Link∙Ability members site.
Investment: US$295 per session
Coaching
Learning how to use the LinkedIn® platform gives business professionals of all stripes an edge. Whether they are a business owner, a senior leader, or a job-seeker, knowing what is current best practice, how to find specific features and how best to reach their target audience or market gives them an advantage.
Clients of our Link∙Ability coaching build confidence, learn their way around the platform, gain an understanding of how to build their brand and visibility, and put themselves in the way of opportunities they wouldn’t otherwise get.
Our coaching sessions run 75 minutes, are recorded for you to refer to later, and ongoing interaction and questions are encouraged. Coaching clients receive a free month of access to our Link∙Ability members site. You may have as many or as few sessions as you wish with no need to decide ahead of time.
Investment: US$295 per session
Testimonial from long-term coaching client, Irene Marshall:
I have known Lynnaire for quite a few years, both as a private client and as a member of a LinkedIn membership group that she manages, Link∙Ability.
I have engaged Lynnaire twice as a private client. Both times she really listened to my concerns and then gave me sound and actionable advice. I trust her very much and she has made me more confident in using LinkedIn. Whenever we communicate, she always makes me feel as if I am her only client.
One memorable conversation was about the headshot on my LinkedIn profile. It was 10 years old, I knew it needed to be changed, but I didn’t know why. Lynnaire told me that the energy she felt from me during our calls did not match the energy in the headshot. That was a totally new perspective for me! Of course, my current headshot is better aligned with who I am now.
Lynnaire is an avid gardener. I wish I could fly to New Zealand, meet her in person and have her give me a tour of her garden. I know it is beautiful. It takes a certain type of person to create and then nurture a large garden to be the best that it can be. It takes both technical skills and creativity.
She carries all the same qualities into her professional life. She is committed, consistent, knowledgeable, and always looking for new ways to share her expertise with those of us trying to use LinkedIn.
She has my total respect!
Training
For companies, having a team that understands the power of LinkedIn® for themselves professionally and the organisation they work for pays massive dividends. Called ‘employee advocacy’, it empowers team members to develop their individual personal brands which in turn gives the company greater visibility, amplifies its messaging, supports its company page, attracts high quality job applicants and engenders loyalty. The traditional view that staff with a strong LinkedIn® presence will be poached is not borne out in the research. Your organisation is in fact the beneficiary.
Link∙Ability’s LinkedIn® training methodology is based on best practices and the optimal outcomes for each individual client. It is based on the objectives of each organization, whether they want their sales teams to use LinkedIn® for lead generation, team members to promote a particular project, or to demonstrate their market leadership. LinkedIn® has phenomenal potential for companies to reach their target audiences and the best way is through their teams or employees, especially those at senior levels.
All our training is based on the premise that if the team member’s profile looks professional and is best practice, it makes them appear competent and knowledgeable. This is in turn makes the organisation look good. Specifically, our training can include:
- Best practice for profiles
- How to use LinkedIn® to build a network of potential customers and clients
- How to develop relationships with those clients
- How to use paid LinkedIn® services to find and approach clients in a way that builds relationships for the long-term (as opposed to short-term spamming).
Typically, training includes a 60 to 90-minute group Zoom training session, followed by individual sessions with interested participants, followed up in 3 months with a final group training session to determine uptake of the original training, answer outstanding questions and provide updates of relevant changes to the platform. However, single group Zoom sessions are also popular for this simply wanting their team to understand the basics.
All training includes provision of presentations, recordings and one month’s access to the members’ area of this Link∙Ability site.
Investment: Prices vary according to individual need and are available on application.
Marketing and network building
To make LinkedIn® really work for you requires more than a compelling profile. It requires becoming visible and credible, and known as the go-to person in your field. And the best way to achieve this is a combination of publishing content writing and building a strong, engaged network, all personalised for your specific goals.
We achieve this for our clients in two key ways:
- Connecting with targeted individuals in a personal and meaningful way.
- Creating, posting and engaging with content that connections find valuable and useful.
Together, connecting and posting increases visibility, enhances credibility and leads to business or other opportunities.
LinkedIn® marketing can be tailored to individual circumstances and budgets, depending on the objectives, plans and current LinkedIn® profile.
This is a hands-on, premium service that does uses neither automation nor other black-hat tactics such as LinkedIn® pods.
Investment: US$1500 per month
Company page set up and management
All organisations, no matter whether they are a one-person venture or a multi-national need a LinkedIn® company page to reach their potential customers and clients. Company pages are free to set up and use, and have multiple benefits. In fact, the founder of this site, Lynnaire Johnston, is the co-author of the world’s only book about LinkedIn® company pages, Business Gold.
However, companies often need help to set up and manage their company page to ensure best practice standard and ongoing growth. Both these services are part of the Link∙Ability portfolio.
Investment: Setting up a company page US$500. Ongoing management prices vary between US$1500 and US$2500 per month.
