LinkedIn has changed. It’s no longer just a place to upload your CV or scroll through updates. It’s become a broadcasting platform – and courageous leadership has become essential.
The good news? You don’t need to be polished. You need to be present.
Visibility today starts with showing up as you are – garden clothes and all. The most powerful leadership content I’ve shared hasn’t been perfect. It’s been real.
Here’s what courageous leadership looks like on LinkedIn in 2025:
Share your story
People connect with stories, not slogans. Share moments from your journey – especially those that reveal lessons learned or show growth. Vulnerability builds trust.
Speak from your purpose
When you know what you stand for, your content becomes clearer and more impactful. Talk about your purpose often. Repeat it. Let people associate you with it.
Use different formats
Text posts. Carousels. Videos. Livestreams. The format isn’t the point – the message is. Choose what works for the story you’re telling and the people you’re trying to reach.
Embrace imperfection
Not every post needs to be groundbreaking. Not every video needs to be studio-quality. Just be useful, be kind, and be consistent.
Lead with values
Whether you’re highlighting an issue or sharing a lighthearted moment, ensure it aligns with your values. Humor can connect people – if it reflects who you really are.
Build relationships, not just reach
Leadership is connection. The goal isn’t just views – it’s meaningful interaction. Respond to comments. Support others. Share ideas that create conversation.
In a world flooded with noise, it takes courage to be clear, consistent and human. LinkedIn gives you the tools – but courage is what makes you memorable.
Let’s not wait to be invited to lead. Let’s start now, where we are, with what we have.
LinkedIn is about growing trust, community, and professional conversations.
